R. William Morgan

Bill Morgan joined Horst Frisch as an Associate in 1991 and became a Managing Director in 1998.

During his many years with the firm, Mr. Morgan has advised a variety of clients on Advance Pricing Agreements, IRS audits, Appeals proceedings, transfer pricing planning, and section 6662 penalty documentation. He also has served as an expert adviser to the IRS on a range of transfer pricing issues.

His areas of expertise include the intercompany transfer of tangible and intangible property, and the provision of services. He also has assisted clients in the fair market valuation of going concerns, including US- and foreign based subsidiaries. He has advised clients in many industries, including financial services, pharmaceuticals, software, automotive, tobacco, and others.

Prior to joining Horst Frisch, he was a valuation consultant with Ernst & Young where he developed royalty rates for licensing intangibles, valued real assets for purchase price allocation purposes, and assisted clients undergoing IRS audits or litigation.

He holds an M.B.A. from the University of Michigan Graduate School of Business and a B.A. in Economics from Vanderbilt University.
